Back Story
Back in 2018, Nell met up with Nasreen Sheikh, the founder of this remarkable homegrown Kathmandu collective. When Nasreen was still a teenager she established The Local Women’s Handcrafts Collective, a space to craft beautiful eco-products while providing a safe environment for women to learn and earn for their families and community in Nepal.
Nell was so impressed by the quality of the work and the stories of the women changing their own lives, that she jumped at the chance to contribute. These unique designs are the result, now exclusively available at Old Fashioned Online.
